Brilliant!
I was recommended this by a friend after she read about Kim K using it. I have always been interested in The Ordinary products but wasn't sure what would suit me best. I use this to help prevent premature skin ageing. I couldn't ever not use this now! It's kind on my sensitive skin, I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin texture and its so much clearer also. It generally has improved my skin and I do notice my complexion being a lot brighter. I would tell anyone to try this, and for the price it is great! I will continue using this along with other products from the brand.

Mild but effective
I really like this product! I'm quite new to Vitamin A/retinoids, so wanted something reasonably gentle to start with as I have quite sensitive skin and do occasionally break out with new products. It's not at all harsh, there's a slight tingle on use but no side effects for me. I have been using this product twice a week, alternating in the evenings with a lactic acid and a retinoid oil, and out of these three, this product leaves me with the plumpest, fresh looking skin the morning after use. It doesn't work miracles, but my fine lines have seen some improvement and my skin generally looks healthier and a lot more fresh. For the price, it's a pretty awesome product and I would ABSOLUTELY recommend trying it out.

Lost without it
Suffered from adult acne, typical sun-sports, and some hyperpigmentation. Started using this as a "why not?" after being on a strong retinol based medication, after a while I stopped using the cream prescribed from my doctor and slowly started using the retinoid cream from The Ordinary instead...let me tell you, this is now my holy grail. No more strong creams, no more peeling. This is a miracle in a bottle and the time it lasts. Just bought my second bottle, needed to get another one before it runs out. Sometimes I like to put it in the fridge and apply during the night when it's really hot outside, feels so good!

Like water......
This just absorbs in the skin, no feeling of moisture of serum type situation. I can not use this, feel like I wasted my money only to now go and buy another other serum (beware it's like water - not happy)

AMAZING
I've had mild acne/ dull skin for YEARS, I've spent out loads on expensive products but THIS is the only one that always amazes me. Even after 1 use, it makes my skin texture so much smoother and clearer and fresher looking - and for only £8! I use it at night before creams and always wake up with the best skin :) Don't use it in the morning though or under makeup x

Cure to my spots!
I definitely believe this product has had a huge involvement in clearing my skin. I've noticed a big difference since using it and it has to lead me to use more of The Ordinary products.

Worked for texture and dark spots
If you used the first 'Advanced Retinoid 2%'- which is no longer available, you would love this! I'd say it is a better formula, just as effective but without the chemically-smell from the old one. I have dark skin and suffer from hyper-pigmentation and textured skin, I used this as step 4 of my 12 step routine to increase skin turn-over, and it absorbs very well into the skin. Even though it lasts me 4 months, I get some more every-time it is available because no other retinol products have impressed or worked effectively on my skin.
