Use in the evening, no more than twice a week. Apply evenly on cleansed, dry skin (avoiding the eye contour) and leave on for no longer than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. This formula contains a very high concentration of free acids. The Ordinary recommends use only if you are an experienced user of acid exfoliation, and not to use on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin.

Best for oily skin
I have repurchased this product maybe 5-6 times. It is a holy grail for my extremely oily skin. Makes my skin glow and the next day my makeup looks amazing! I use it once a week and even though my skin is super resilient, I sometimes notice a slight irritation especially if I have overused my adapalene within the week. So I wouldn’t recommend weekly use if you have sensitive skin.
