Efficacious enough to use on its own (without a second cleanse!) to rid yourself of the day's dirt, grime, make up and SPF, the Barrier Culture Cleanser deeply cleanses skin without stripping, dehydrating or upsetting skin's pH levels via gentle and biodegradable cleansing agents derived from apples.
Ideal for dry, dull and breakout-prone complexions, the vegan, soap-free (and paraben, sulphate and fragrance-free) formula harnesses patented tech to rebuild your microbiome, which helps you to ward off the negative effects of pollution and effectively lock in moisture. It does this by repairing the skin barrier via prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics - all working in tandem to give you balanced, smooth, calm and happy skin. Coming in a delightfully decadent, velvety gel texture (that transforms into a light, milky foam when used), this next-gen cleanser will boost skin's natural immune system - helping it to defend itself against pollution, UV light, infection and dehydration.

Use in the PM to remove daily grime, makeup and pollution from the skin.
Apply 1-2 pumps to damp skin, massage in and then rinse clean with warm water. Pat skin dry. Follow with the Barrier Culture Moisturiser.

AMAZING
I honestly can not say enough good things about this cleanser, it's been perfect for my sensitive skin! It comes out like a gel but lathers in your skin really nicely. There's no scent which I love and it doesn't dry my skn out after use. I just wish there was a smaller size to travel with!

Perfect Cleanser
I've been trying to reduce the amount of skincare product in my bathroom and this cleanser was the answer. I use it day & night as a make up remover & cleanser. It is gently and works perfectly for my sensitive skin!

Gentle Cleanser

Gentle and silky textured cleanser
I really like this. I use it with a cloth to remove makeup. The texture is a silky gel and it leaves my skin feeling fresh without drying

Great but pricey
This is a great mildly foaming cleanser. It’s very gentle on the skin, with a very gentle/ minimal soft foam, but feels like it’s ‘doing’ something. It’s similar to the Fresh soy cleanser (which is my go-to), but more expensive, hence the 4 stars. I would consider repurchasing it, though, as it’s pleasant to use.

Amazing Cleanser
My skin has never felt more hydrated and feeling clean after using it! I use it every night as a first (and sometimes a 2nd cleanse). I have combination skin and I use a lot of actives. Using this daily, I've seen an improvement breakouts and my skin has felt more supple. To add, the bottle is absolutely beautiful and the product inside actually lasted longer than I thought it would!

Perfection
I never thought I would say this about a cleanser, but this is hands down one of the best products I've ever put on my face. I'm almost done with my second bottle! It's so gentle but has amazing cleansing properties. I don't know how, but it just prepares my skin so well for the rest of my routine. I got dry skin, but I never feel like it strips my skin from moisture or oil. I honestly wish I could find a cheaper alternative, but I haven't found any other cleanser as fantastic as this one as silly as it might sound. I will definitely keep buying this.
