Good one, but…

This is a great cleansing balm, very hydrating, it leaves a slight film on the skin and I love it. But - sometimes it has a grainy texture you can’t feel on your hands but definitely feel on your face. And I find it a bit abrasive, although it doesn’t make my skin red od irritated. Other times the texture is okay, so I am a bit confused. I read a lot of reviews and it seems it depends on batches… I don’t know. Without that grainy feeling this would be one od the best cleansing balms out there, so I have ordered a new one and I will see if it´s different.

good

I have used this as a first step in my double cleansing and it pretty much did it's job. It removed my makeup pretty good. You'll definitely need some other product to wash it off.

Don't recommend

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was very excited to discover this product because it is one of the very few affordable options for double cleansing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product at all. First of all, it doesn't work the way it is described because you cannot wash it away with just warm water and definitely need to follow up with a foaming cleanser to get rid of the leftover film. Secondly, it started separating very soon after opening the bottle and after several months became pretty much unusable. It did help remove my makeup better, but because of the reasons above, I will not repurchase.

Not worth it

I don‘t like the consistency. It is too thick and not emollient enough. Too bad, I heard such good things about it.

My favourite

I have used this one to remove my makeup for a long time now, and it does the job every time. I definitely recommend to use another product to wash it off though.

Not for me

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Unfortunately I didn‘t like this cleansing balm at all. Maybe I‘ve had wrong expectations because a lot of customers seem to like it. When I put the balm on, it‘s oily which is totally fine, but after trying to wash it off it leaves a very greasy film on my face. My skin type is combination skin.
