Only for dry skin
I feel like this cleanser doesn't work for oily types even if you use it as the first of two cleansing steps. The second cleanser has to get rid of the film that this cleanser leaves on the skin and doesn't do what it is supposed to do.

Didn't like it
I like cleansing balms that melt on skin easily, emulsify well and rinse clean (think Clinique Take the Day Off). This did none of those things. It was too sticky to easily massage onto my skin, emulsified poorly and left behind a lot of residue. I would only consider this for use as part of a double cleansing method, but even then there are so many better products.
