Solid barrier serum
I have sensitive skin so I’m always on the hunt for a good repairing serum. This is hydrating and repairing and I can easily include it in my morning or evening routine when I feel my skin is sensitized.

Not for me
I have dry to very dry skin and my skin goal is glass skin. The instructions say to use it as a first step after cleansing. It sinks in quickly and leaves the skin really smooth, almost blurred, but also matte, which is the exact opposite of what I want. Layering on other skincare is when things start getting bad. When you apply other serums-creams on top, everything gets tacky and almost feels like this serum is blocking other skincare from absorbing and just making a sticky mess on top of it. The more layers of other products you add, the tackier the face gets. I can literally stick things to my face (yes, I actually tried). The stickiness does go away eventually during the day, but it's only because everything starts pilling off and I don't even wear complexion makeup. I literally had a friend asking „What's that on your neck??“ at one point and it was my pilling skincare...

I'm not that big of a fan of The Inkey List serums but this one is the bomb! The texture is amazing and not too slippy-slidey, it sinks in fast and makes my skin feel instantly calm, radiant and hydrated. Suits my sensitive skin really well.

Great but pilling
It's a great product in terms of hydration and skin-barrier protection, but it pills like crazy! So unfortenately I can use it only at night, because during the day it's gonna ruin the makeup and leave that unpleasant pilling sensation. For the night skincare routine, I love it
