Super Serum
This serum is really nice, haven’t been using long, but goes on so smoothly, no stickiness at all, as I proceed to use a little longer I hope to discover a good result in my skin, definitely recommend a try of this serum

Was expecting more
I love SR products but this was disappointing. I saw no changes at all. I used the entire bottle alternate days then every night. And still it did nothing for my acne marks. My marks and acne pigmentation remained till I started using another retinol product that I saw changes with in 6 weeks.

Great stuff but may break out
I use this serum every night as 3rd step in my routine. After one week of usage, I started getting some serious breakout. But somehow retinol does that to me. I’ll continue for another week or so, hopefully, it stops. But overall great serum!

Smells like paint...
I love retinol products and had just run out of my Murad retinol youth serum and decided to give something else a try just to see what else was out there out of curiosity. I’m 30 years old with some very fine lines on the forehead and some slight laugh lines. I don’t suffer really from acne but I do get the occasional breakout with a pimple or two showing up at random, so my use of retinol is a way to maintain my skin and to help out with any of the fine lines and discoloration from the occasional pimple and for overall anti-aging. I love trying out new products to find something that not only works, but makes me excited about skincare and taking care of my skin and so I decided after finishing my other retinol serum it was the opportunity to try something new out. BIG MISTAKE! While this has a nice texture and feel and absorbs nicely into the skin and did not cause any irritation, there was no noticeable improvement in my skin but the absolute WORST part that I can not get past however is the SMELL! And I’m not talking about it’s a cloying, overly fragrant product or that it isn’t fragrance free... I love products with a nice scent, my favorite being Tata Harper’s Rejuvenating Serum which has a super earthy, herbal and luxurious scent. But this Sunday Riley serum? It smells like stepping into a room that is being PAINTED! I first opened it up when I got it and I smelled a slight honey fragrance, then that night when I used it the first time, BAM! The smell of PAINT FUMES... absolutely awful. After looking back at reviews and being surprised that their products are so highly rated, I decided to do some digging into the brand which I probably should have done prior to ordering the product and then found out about their sketchy business practices. Don’t waste your money on this garbage. There are so many other products out there that are effective and enjoyable to use and this was neither or those. It’s a basic brand that’s masquerading as luxury skincare. Next to my other expensive products on the sink, this is a try-hard, a poser, a wannabe... don’t believe the falsified hype. Needless to say, say I won’t be repurchasing this...

An absolute dream
This is amazing! Strong yet gentle. When using other strong retinol products, I always get a lot of irritation, but with this one, it is just the results someone would wish for with retinol without the downsides. Definitely worth a 5 out of 5!

SUPER STRONG
I have used acids before and retinoid too and so many different products that are strong, but this one is REALLY strong - so I have been using it every alternative day and being quite cautious, remembering to moisturise well as the skin peels off a lot which makes me think that it is working but I haven't seen any improvement! Super strong, yet to see the effects though! I have been using it for 4 weeks now (thrice a week). I am hopeful that I will be able to build it up in the next few weeks to see better results.

For years I have suffered from Acne and after I finally found a routine which has cleared up my skin, I was left with a lot of acne scars. I have tried lots of things including different kind of retinols and retinoids aswell, they were not really working. When I started using this I was really impressed by the look of my face the next morning. Ever since my acne scars have faded and they are 60% less visible. I am finally comfortable being without foundation and this is something I wish for years now. So there is no way on this earth I would switch this product to something else. 10/10

Disppointing
Sunday Riley is my all time favorite brand. Unfortunately with cycle and hormone change came some unwanted acne, not a lot, but enough that I need to change my routine. Obviously I looked into the Sunday Riley lines to fix my new issue, and was met with some very disappointing results. After three weeks of trial, I noticed the following: 1) ODOR: the scent was awful, perhaps even rancid, and *maybe* I received a bad batch (which would make this review more understandable). But I doubt that's the issue, SR has very high standards of quality, I doubt Cult would have sent a rouge serum. My make up brushes suffered from the odor as well, it left a bad scent that needed to be washed after every use, instead of every week! 2) SKIN: the serum very obviously made my skin more oily, and I tried alternating between morning and night to see where the issue really lied. The serum was the clear culprit. Oily skin = acne. The issue, instead of subsiding, became worse. 3) COST: I would pay full price for any SR product, but this one, for the fact that it doesn't work at all, is over the top. I resulted in using Caudalie's serum, which is less than half the cost, and works for acne on older skin. Thank you for reading my review. Have a nice day. TT

Great for my acne prone skin
Started using for 3 weeks and I felt that my monthly hormonal acne life cycle seems shorter and acne scars faded faster. This is becoming a bottle that I frequently reach out for my night time regime.
