Leap of faith.
It works, but it takes time and consistency to see results. It's something you notice when you stop using it after being constant for some weeks, and I think it makes a difference. If you get slightly puffy or itchy skin on the undereye area, try to completely block the light with a pair or reusable eye masks (I have the Dieux ones) and use your favourite eye product underneath. Two birds, one stone! Mind you, I have VERY sensitive skin and it's the only side effect I noticed, which reassured me that the mask was working.

it's a good mask for beginners, it doesn't cause irritation but it also doesn't perform like other LED masks. It's great for the price though but I've never noticed a reduction in redness or any other benefits

I thought a lot before buying my first led mask, chose this one and very happy with it. If you are not sure about the results, this is a good one to try it out and not waste a lot of money. I think I already see some results after just a few times I used it. And I really like that it's made from soft material, because we all have different features and I'm not sure that the hard ones will suit everyone.
