It is a blend of exfoliating acids, hydrating ingredients, and botanical extracts. Mandelic acid and lactic acid as exfoliants very mild and gentle, and help with texture and provide hydration. I much prefer this one to the 2% salicylic acid from Paula's. It works better for my sensitive, dehydrated skin.
