Powered by a medley of exfoliating acids, the Skin Perfecting 25% AHA + 2% BHA Exfoliant Peel (30ml) unblocks congested pores, smooths rough skin and reveals a radiant glow.
This concentrated, rinse-off peel harnesses water-soluble AHAs (8.4% glycolic acid, 7.1% lactic acid, 5% mandelic acid, 2.5% tartaric acid and 2% malic acid, to be exact) and oil-soluble salicylic acid to achieve multi-level resurfacing action. That's a fair few acids, we know, but they're balanced by plant extracts such as allantoin, bisabolol and plant-derived butterfly pea flower extract (the ingredient behind the blend's natural lilac colour) to soothe and reduce the signs of redness. Beyond fighting breakouts, diminishing blackheads and smoothing your skin texture, you can expect the peel to reveal hydrated, supple and luminous skin post-rinse.

Apply a generous amount to clean, dry skin, avoiding the immediate eye area and lips. Leave on for ten minutes, then rinse using warm water. Do not use other exfoliants at the same time as this product. Do not use more than once per week.

Powerhouse
Having very sensitive it's always a gamble when trying something super active, but this one was a good one. I use AHAs and BHA daily so my skin has built up a tolerance, there are also some great calming ingredients in the formula which gave me some reassurance that this peel wouldn't be too much. Upon application I experienced some tingling which is completely normal and stopped after a few minutes. The texture is gel like, has a gorgeous lilac hue and is easy to apply evenly. My skin felt super soft and looked glowy as soon as I rinsed it off, it really helped to clear congested areas as well as a couple of pesky pimples and caused no redness or irritation at all. Because of my skin type, that's maybe not something I would use weekly, maybe more twice monthly or when I feel that my skin needs a more intense treatment. This would be great for someone who uses acids in their regime but want that extra weekly treat!
