Gently apply using your fingers or a cotton pad over entire face and neck, including the eye area (avoid lash line and eyelids) after cleansing and toning. Do not rinse. This is a great and non-irritating exfoliant. I don't think it's the miracle worker that some people have hailed it as, but it's a solid choice. I do notice that my skin is smoother when I use this regularly, but I haven't noticed a huge difference in break outs. If you have very congested skin I would suggest finding something a bit more heavy duty.
