Base Layer: Add 1-2 pumps to the back of your hand and spread it out. Distribute the formula evenly into the bristles of a dense foundation brush and a apply a light layer to skin, starting at the center of the face and moving outwards along the hairline and jawline.
Second-Skin Finish: Blend and build coverage with a beauty sponge, using a pouncing motion to work the formula seamlessly into skin.
Artistry Technique (Underpainting): Before foundation, apply Major Sculpt Duo and Major Headlines Blush Duo to fresh skin. Add 1 pump of foundation on the back of your hand and spread it out into a thin, light layer. Stamp a beauty blender into the formula one dot at a time, then slowly press the product into skin over the contour and blush to get seamless coverage and makeup that looks like skin.

For reference I have 40+ mature skin , I have tried every skin tint ,foundation type product out there on every price point and this gets a 10/10 for me, lightweight on the skin after drying down ,very blendable and buildable, if undecided on shade match i would suggest go to the lighter option as this is buildable and takes further products bronzer etc well, a little goes a long way initially, shake well before use and if you do build/ layer it blot gently with a tissue after application to remove any excess that may appear oily as this is " luminous " like a skincare product i would suggest giving it a few minutes before going over with another product on top, powder etc. I have light/medium skin tone and little summer tanned and bought shade 12 Peach, the shade name was initially off putting but its a good mid sandy shade, I would be one or two shades lighter than olive, its not a thick formula so I applied using a damp sponge and it laid well without settling into creases then doubled the application on blemishes for added coverage , beautiful packaging , for reference I would usually wear Hourglass skin tint in shade 9 this is my new go to, absolutely love this product for lots of reasons

Color match inexact and too yellow
So I color-matched on Cult Beauty against my Armani Silk foundation, and the result came different than what Patrick Ta’s website provided (which i only checked after receivibg it, so too late). It is more yellow-toned than I expected and slightly less coverage (definitely light, not light to medium, and I didn’t necessarily think it builds up well). But i do like the hydration and subtle glow on my dry mature skin

My skin is dry and I have fine lines, nothing to cover or conceal though. I always aim for long lasting hydration, light formulas so I feel like my skin is bare, glow and fresher look. Maybe I had way too high expectations, but sadly, this foundation and I, we are not a match. It’s sticky to me, it stays in my fine lines; it gives me more of an oily than a glowy vibes; it’s not a light weighted, I feel it very heavy on my skin; and in few hours doesn’t feel hydrating but still looks oily and feels sticky… The best to me was that after many considerations, I got a perfectly matching colour, although it wasn’t the PT website generated recommendation. The color adjusts to the skin perfectly! The packaging is beautiful. But I wouldn’t recommend it and I’m not using it after the first try!
