don't understand the hype
A rather mediocre lip gloss. It’s quite sticky, absorbs within an hour, and that pretty glossy finish disappears. The light shade is barely noticeable on my lips, and the red one leans brown and settles into the lip lines. As a value set it’s fine, but overall the product is pretty average.

The plumping ingredient burns unpleasantly
I usually love menthol-based plumping products, but this one contains something else, too. It must be either the pepper, the ginger and/or the cinnamon derivatives, that inflicts a strong and very unpleasant burning sensation to my lips. Remains to be seen if I'll be able to use these and it won't be a pleasant experience in any case. If you can bear the burn, the result is plumping and the gloss looks nice but - unlike the burning sensation - won't last particularly long.

I have bought both sets and do not regret one bit. This one has more interesting shades to me and as I have quite pigmented lips, the colours are quite noticeable on me. It emphesises my natural colour and gives a different tint, plumpness and shine to my lips. I think it elevates every look I paired them with so far. Because the care they give is really good, I even put them on for workout sessions with minimal on no make up and they also look so good.
