Smells like a Baccarat Rouge 540 clone
The body oil smells like a dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540—you have to like that. Personally, I find this scent profile unimaginative and a bit outdated. My husband also thinks the scent smells like empty beer bottles—malty and alcoholic. Unfortunately, after hearing him say that, I can smell it too. As for the oil itself: if you apply it sparingly, it isn’t greasy or sticky; however, if you’re looking for glitter particles and a strong tanning effect, this isn’t the right product. The glow is rather subtle, and I personally (medium skin type) don’t see any tanning effect. Will use it up and not buy again.

This body oil does deliver a nice luminous sheen, but it’s barely bronzing—so if you’re looking for noticeable color, you may be disappointed. My biggest issue is the scent, which is very strong and reminds me of inexpensive pre-teen beauty products. It lingers for hours and can be overwhelming. Overall, it gives a lovely glow but isn’t worth it for me because of the fragrance.
