Misleading name, okay product if you like minimal makeup
With the product being called Major Glow, I thought I would get a blinding highlighter, something refined and dewy. But instead the product is a disappointment through and through. I got the shade BABY and I was excited to try it after the infamous reformulation. The powder feels exactly like a colourpop supershock, but it offers no glow whatsover. The pink pearl they used is beautiful, but it's a demi-matte finish and it does not apply well on the skin at all with a brush (stiff is the only way to pick up product), a sponge or fingers. The cream does provide glow, especially if used as advertised (powder first, cream second), but it's basically glorified vaseline. It's a sheer sticky base (no colour to it whatsover) with some sparkles suspended in it, which kind of clump together and get chunky if you apply with a sponge (which is how I like to use my cream hightlighters on top of powdes). If you like subtle makeup or wear little to no makeup, you may fit this in your routine, though I do not reccoment this at all for the price. I will use it because I spent my money on it, but I do not understand how a product like this fits in the Patrick Ta range, since the blush cream itself is wayyyyy more glowy than this. I feel like if you even wear his line, this product is a waste of money The only way I use this and see it viable as a product is on low makeup days, with sheer foundations and if you do NOT want or like a glowy look.

Shade Baby
Was excited to try the reformulated version, and purchased shade “Baby”. It’s a pretty shade, I love a good pastel soft pink- but it’s not very pigmented. You have to really build it on. The glitter is subtle but cute, and I like the glow it gives, it looks best in sunlight. I just wish it was more pigmented.
