Great discovery set - great line!
I'm really happy Oribe has discovery sets, to try out there different lines with managable risk. I wasn't disappointed at all with the Alchemy-Line. Great for my fine hair, I already repurchased this 3 products.

Truly, after trying the gold and black line, I was a bit disappointed with this, because it didn’t hydrate my hair enough. Maybe I didn’t do the right choice for my hair, which is dyed, fine, wavy and a bit stiff. It lacks flexibility. I await it bouncy, and this might be a tech treatment that fortifies the hair over time, instead of giving you that immediate effect, which I love. So I’m not sure about this. If you’re anything like me, go for the gold line.

I have very thin and fine hair, prone to breakage. This line from Oribe has helped me to maintain length and keep the hair moisturized. I run out of conditioner after a month but shampoo and the treatment serum has lasted me over two months. Great set if you want to try out the prodcuts before commiting to the full size.

The shampoo and conditioner were fine, nothing special, especially since the scent was so faint that I could barely smell it on my hair afterwards, which was a big let down. The hair serum however did have a more noticeable scent, so I was OK with that. I use other hair care products in my hair after a wash so I can't actually comment on how it works singularly, but whenever I've used it I don't have a problem with the serum weighing the hair down or making it feel greasy. I use very little each time and I still have the serum even though it's been a few months since I bought the set, I also still have the conditioner since I only use that once a week, but the shampoo didn't last long AT ALL! These bottles are so small that this would only be meant for either traveling or to try the product out. I don't remember exactly how many washed it lasted for but it wasn't more than a couple of weeks of washing every other day or less. Can't really say anything more specific about it as it didn't do anything to massively impress me. It did leave the hair silky and soft, I will say, but so do a lot of other hair products. The scent is very nice though.
