Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. As if that wasn't enough, it resists oxidisation to leave you with a complexion that stays true to colour all day long. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? It's infused with a smoothie of raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to support a smoother-looking complexion and leave you looking naturally radiant.

Really nice foundation
This is such a lovely foundation with grade shade variation. A little goes a very long way and I only need 1-2 pumps for a really good coverage. Hides blemishes and pigmentation really well and goes really nicely with the nars creamy concealer. It can look a little cakey and sit in pores if too much is applied but is easily overcome with a good base and good application. Â Would recommend.Â

Nice finish but..
So transferable! I’ve never used a foundation like it. You lightly brush your skin and foundation is all over your hand. I had to stop wearing it because I have young children and they were covered in it. Such a shame.

Worth the hype
I honestly thought that I won’t be impressed by this one. I’ve tried many brands foundations, and only a few made my skin flawless and i must tell that NARS is on top of the list. I have dehydrated sensitive skin, oily on T zone, and i have always problems with foundation staying o top of my cheek and covering my redness. Also, for people with very fair skin i must say the shade MontBlanc is too dark and not exactly neutral tone(i’m in between NC10 - NC12 on mac studio fix). Anyways, this foundation is really worth the hype

Sildes off my face like crazy
I tried it a couple of times but I can't make it work. I have oily skin and this sets into every single fine line and slides off my face after a couple of hours. It comes off when I touch my face even slightly, it feels like it never sets.

Great finish
This foundation has a lovely finish and works better for the warmer months. You can build it up to full coverage and it looks just like skin. Not too noticeable at all. You don't really need much to cover the face because of the high pigmentation - so it will last really long! I did find it transferred a lot though, no matter what powder or setting sprays I use.
