Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. As if that wasn't enough, it resists oxidisation to leave you with a complexion that stays true to colour all day long. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? It's infused with a smoothie of raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to support a smoother-looking complexion and leave you looking naturally radiant.

My favourite
The best foundation I've found in 30 years of wearing/buying foundations. Been using for a few years now and now I've found the perfect shade I doubt I will be changing. Great for skin that tends to break out. When my skin is extra dry I need to moisturise well before applying and sometimes during winter I add luminator to increase the 'glow' as the formula is quite matte. But I would say it's a perfect foundation for me! (43 years, combination skin, tends to breakout). Coverage is full but without being obviously made-up. Recommended.

Not my favourite from Nars
A light texture yet full coverage foundation. I got salzburg for Summer but it leans a bit orange when I don't tan. I'd say it's more suitable for combination to oily skin types that like full coverage. On my normal to dry skin it can look dry and heavy sometimes.

This is a nice foundation. It is somewhat too thin, spreads pretty well. The colours are amazing, I am sure everyone will find their own colour. The coverage is light, you must layer it to get a medium coverage.

This foundation is a staple in my collection. It’s long wearing and does not budge. Great for oily skin and leaves the skin with a beautiful glow. For lighter coverage I just mix this in with some moisturiser and it’s a 2 in one foundation. A little goes a long way with foundation. To much and it becomes cakey use it sparingly
