Skin-like finish but not cruelty-free
Nars Bronzing Cream in Laguna 1 is the most natural, skin-like finish bronzers/sculptors that I have ever tried. It's difficult to end up in Cakeyville or Muddytown with this one. Being ultra-fair and cool-toned, muddiness is almost guaranteed with sculpting/bronzer products, but it's not a problem with Laguna 1. In addition, the undertones work for me well; it's not too yellow, brown, red or gray but looks like natural shadowing on my face. My problem with the product is that NARS is not cruelty-free, which is usually my first criterion to not use something. I would switch to a cruelty-free product if I could find one that would work for me. However, if I don't, I might just stop using sculptor products after I finish this one.

Great cream bronzer
Great cream bronzer! It is creamy and blends easily onto the skin. Even though I have fair skin, I like to use shade 2 (which is the original shade) since it has a rather neutral undertone that I prefer when wanting to achieve a bronzed look. If you go with a light hand, this shade works well on fair skin as well! The packaging is nice and sleek, even though I usually prefer a compact rather than a jar since I am always in a rush and I think the compact is easier to open and use on the go
