Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Pilled and separated
I have trust problems after this. When wearing the primer alone, it looks fine, doesn't make any difference to this skin. However, when I put something on top (i.e. Milk Makeup undereye concealer), the makeup instantly pills and what little makeup left is patchy/separated, and it also emphasizes pores in areas they are normally not visible. Without the primer, my makeup is fine texture-wise. I used basic moisturizer and spf before this primer, both silicone-free. I did all the things like making sure my moisturizer + spf are soaked in, waiting 10+ min for the primer to dry down etc. Maybe there's something I'm missing about how to use this/what kind of products to avoid beforehand but I don't feel like doing tests every day to find out when the simplest application was already not good. I just don't understand how all the influencers could have made so many videos with this looking great.... I don't get it. Can't return because it's now been opened.

Good but unfortunately doesn't work for me :(
Seems to be a good primer but didn't work too well. I just went through acne medication and I was looking for something to hold my makeup together but idk if this is the one for acne prone skin. It didn't cause any breakouts but my makeup started shifting when blending my foundation on it. I used two different foundations 1.YSL something and 2.Fenty Hydrating Foundation and it just didn't work for me although it seemed quite grippy at first.

My oily skin can’t live without
Primers can feel tacky our silicone-like but this one is something else. It feels sticky right when applied but this feeling disappears after a minute. After that, you’re ready to apply your foundation and for me it stays ALL DAY. Since using this primer I hardly have to retouch my make-up during day which is a miracle with my oily skin!

Best Primer EVER!!!
I’ve tried a lot of different primers and this is the best primer I’ve ever used!  Goes on really easily.  You only need a tiny amount so a small bottle will last you quite a while.  Makeup goes on really smoothly over the top without any issuesÂ

Confused
If I apply it on top of my spf, it moves it and makes a white goop. Makes makeup sit in my pores and cracked. All the 5 times I used it, I had to scrub makeup off my face after a few minutes. I hate it....
