1. Start at the top of Cupid's bow and carefully outline it.
2. Move to the centre of the lips and define.
3. Define the corners of the lips.
4. Blend inwards, starting from the corners, work towards the centre for a plumping effect.

Better then the original
While my biggest issue with this lipliner is the pricepoint and 1 more problem which I will mentioned. The only reason I keep buying it is for the sake of the shades: endless cacao and dimensional brown because they both are unique in my collection. It is difficult to find solid cool toned lipliners these days. Especially in these grey-ish as well as grungy tones. The original barely lasted but this one is a huge improvement. Still doesn't really justify the price. My second issue is that you have to sharpen it way to often if you need/love sharp edges for your looks. If this was around €15 that would have been understandable but almost €23 and you often have to sharpen it is not it!

This color suits me perfectly , very natural and forgiving for beginners.I wouldn't say it lasts all day but it is long lasting , I just have to reapply. tip: Do not sharpen it! remove the bottom part and push the color rod with something pointed. I am not sure if it is meant to be sharpened normally but it is made of a plastic material which could break the sharpener, I do not know. I just used my technique and it worked perfectly
