This is a creamy blush that applies easily and is longlasting. The cherry pie color is bright but can be easily blended for a more subtle look.

Shade "Rosebud" is really really natural for my light cool pink undertone skin, at times can even feel "too natural". Satin finish, not dewy nor matte. If you have blush blindness and love a dramatic cheek, this one ain't for you. If you want something really natural that melts into the skin and/or you're just starting with blush, it's s fool proof option, you can't overdo it.

I first tried this blush in the shade Gumdrop because it was in the Cult Beauty blush edit. I immediately fell in love with the formula (dewy, natural, easy to blend, great staying power) and the shade (the perfect summer shade). I have since bought two more shades: Rosebud and Angel because I wanted some subtle, everyday shades. The shades are very similar, but Rosebud is slightly more rosy and Angel slightly more peachy. But both are very beautiful. If I didn't already have a lot of blushes in the same shade range as the others from this product, I definitely would buy more.
