I should have chosen a different color since this one looks like I just ate some chocolate... The scent is nice and the formula is smooth and glossy (I use the grapefruit one as an every day gloss/balm) but I found it lacking when it came to hydration. It feels very nice and hydrating when on but when it wears off my lips go right back to being chapped - I feel like it doesn't really provide any lasting hydration and is usually completely worn off in the morning.. I'm stickin to petroleum jelly for night masking.

perhaps slightly overhyped. I have really dry lips at the moment (not normally) and during the day I use la Roche posay lip ointment which works better, but I have the idea that for during the night the laneige mask will stay put longer. Its not doing miracles, but my lips are slowly getting better. so I took a star out for the price as I think there are other products that would work equally well. its nice and soft, a little sticky until it sinks in, I don't like the scent so much (lemon sherbet) it's too much sweet and artificial candy for my taste. but overall a luxurious feeling product that works fine.
