Well, the rounded end is designed for dusting finishing powder all over the face, whereas the smaller, tapered side is shaped to access the delicate under-eye area and setting concealer in place to prevent it from creasing. Ensuring a smooth, even application, this sleek piece of equipment features a weighted metal handle that provides control and effortless blending.

Versatile brush!
Finally, I splurged on this brush, and I’m so glad I did! I usually prefer smaller brushes similar in size to the tapered end of this one, but I wanted an airy brush for a light, all-over application of setting powder to create the perfect base for bronzer or blush. This brush is phenomenal! It picks up just the right amount of powder (though I always swirl it in my hand to ensure even distribution) and feels incredibly soft. The tapered side is perfect for precise bronzer and blush application. Tip: I clean my brushes with a microfiber cloth after each use, so they’re always ready for next time. Washing it is super easy too!

Totally worth it
While it's a more expensive brush, I feel like it's 100% worth it. I can do my entire complexion using powder products with just these two sides - powder, bronzer, blush, highlighter. And even all the cream products too. Fantastic shape. When traveling, I basically need one or maybe two of these for my entire face + a few smaller eyebrushes. Also, it's soft and goes super well with Hourglass powder products.

All in one brush
With the exception of concealer (I have not tried that yet), this powerhouse brush can do it all. From foundation to bronzer, blush, highlighter and setting powder, there is nothing that this brush cannot do. And it does all of them exceptionally well!. One of the most multifunctional brushes I own. I cannot recommend it enough!.
