Compromised product and unfortunately very disappointing customer support
I purchased this Hourglass luminous glow foundation in shade 1 after testing it in store and really loving the texture and feel. Very sadly, the tube I received behaved extremely badly on multiple levels - the texture was very chalky and thick, the product severely broke down on the skin and was totally unwearable, and while removing it with a cleansing balm, it was transforming into a waxy layer that was very hard to wash off. It was everything but the opposite of luminous and glowy, and a total nightmare to wash it off! It is no doubt something was wrong with the specific tube I received. I contacted CultBeauty customer support, which ended with even bigger disappointment. They quickly dismissed my issue as a normal batch variation stating to further action will be taken from their side. I shared multiple pictures where it was clearly visible how the product was behaving abnormally on my skin. It’s understandable products may vary in texture and wear, but this was not a subtle texture variation. It’s a shame to be left with a compromised product especially considering the price point of it. Faulty products can happen, so mostly disappointed with CultBeauty customer support, if it can be called that.

It's beautiful and glowy and not in an oily way. It does look like makeup though so it's not ideal for a very natural look. Still a good foundation. I will probably buy the Hourglass skin tint and mix it with the foundation to thin it out a bit.

This product gives a really natural glow, despite having a glow finish, and obviously you have to like it. It's not at all sticky like many others and is very comfortable, I really liked it. PS: The only thing I would have liked is a little more coverage, but the result is still good. Recommended.

My favourite HOURGLASS foundations was Illusion Hyaluronic Skin Tint but this one is not anymore in production. I have a dry skin and was hoping that this foundation will be a similar but it is a bit different. However this is still a good foundation.

This foundation wasn’t my first pick for hot summer days, it’s too rich - but now that colder weather has arrived my normal to dry skin absolutely loves it. I get smooth, photoshopped effect and radiant, healthy glow. Wouldn’t recommend for oily skin tho.
