Effective, But Not for Continuous Use
I had a bit of a love–hate relationship with this shampoo, but after using almost half the bottle, I understand it. It works well in hard-water areas as a gentle anti-residue shampoo and is milder than strong clarifying formulas, so it does what it claims on that front. The “anti-thinning” claim should be taken realistically. This isn’t a treatment and won’t regrow hair, but it can support scalp health and reduce breakage, which helps improve the look of existing hair. My issue is long-term use. After a few weeks, my fine-to-medium hair (oily roots, dry ends) started to look flatter and weighed down. Each time I stopped using it, my hair bounced back and the same thing happened when I tried this shampoo again. Right after washing, my hair looks clean and shiny, but over time it loses freshness. Looking at the ingredients, cationic polymers (Polyquaternium-10/-47 and guar) likely cause gradual build-up. I now use it as a reset shampoo every couple of weeks rather than regularly. It works, but I prefer cleaner-rinsing formulas, so I likely won’t repurchase.

Waiting on the "anti-thinning" effect but so far I love it
My main concern is hard water. It's really harsh on hair and scalp, and this shampoo really helps. It's still early days to judge the anti-thinning effect but so far, my hair and scalp feel so much better since I use this shampoo (scalp is way less itchy and hair feels softer). I will continue using it.
