The Gucci Baume Nourrissant Universel is one of those products that seems simple at first, but quickly becomes something you reach for every day. It’s a multi-purpose balm designed to nourish and add a healthy glow to the skin, and honestly, it does exactly that. The texture is rich but surprisingly lightweight. It melts beautifully into the skin without feeling greasy or heavy, making it perfect for adding a subtle glow to the high points of the face. I love using it on no-makeup days for that fresh, healthy-looking skin effect, but it also works beautifully over makeup when I want a more natural, dewy finish. What I appreciate most is how versatile it is. You can use it as a glowing balm, on dry patches, on the lips, or anywhere your skin needs a little extra nourishment. It gives the skin that effortless “French girl” glow that looks chic rather than shiny. The luxurious packaging definitely adds to the experience, and while it’s certainly not an essential product, it’s one of those little luxuries that makes your makeup routine feel special.

Good everyday balm
First of all, can we just appreciate the packaging here? Thanks. Now moving on, the packaging is actually bigger than I expected, I thought it's going to be a small tin but if you know what Gucci blush packaging is like, it's basically the same. It even has a mirror, which is a surprising but incredibly good bonus since I'm now using this as my handbag-essential, it's handling all the random moisturizing and mirroring quests. I love this on my dry cuticles and elbows. I also like to swipe this under my eyes for a bit before applying makeup (dab the excess off though, the concealer will just slide to the southern side of things if you don't). I do sometimes use it on my lips when I've forgotten to grab along one of my three hundred lip balms and it does the job but it's not my favorite as a lip product, it feels a bit too thin for my lips, I personally prefer a thick layer of sumptuousness on my lips. In any case, this is truly an indulgence to buy and if you can get it on a sale or for your bonus points, throw it in, you won't regret it. Also, sidenote, interestingly, the packaging on all of these looks to be refillable but I'm not sure if they even make refills. But I do think they're identical to blushes so if you want to have a different package for your blush for some reason (maybe you have two and want to tell the difference at a glance), this could be an unexpected bonus later.

I was so curious to try this balm. I was not sure if I was going to like it or not , but I do. Its a hybrid between an oily and a creamy balm, can be applied on the lips, skin, cuticles and provides a decent amount of moisture. Does it worth the money? I wouldn’t say so, but its a nice addition to my skincare kit. Oh, and I almost forgot: the packaging is amazing if you care about these things.
