Good but not great
I have the Slip Pure Contour sleep mask but after several years and washes, the elastic was loosening up so I decided to treat myself to this mask. The good: I feel the velcro will last a bit longer/not stretch out as elastic does so likely more sustainable/it is padded all the way around and it covers my ears which isn't the same as ear plugs but definitely dulls noises a tiny bit as well/it is wide and does well covering the eyes and blocking light. The bad: although the contour/eye cups protect the lashes somewhat, the contour area is not nearly as structured as the Slip one, so the effect is there but not to the degree I would like it. I need to be more mindful and it still pushes my outer lashes somewhat if done up too tight or if too loose and it shifts a bit during the night. It is quite a bit pricier as compared to the Slip mask and, in some ways, superior. But I really needed a better/deeper/more structured eyecup to protect the lashes better. Possibly mine are a on the longer side but they are not like extensions, which are certainly longer. Just something to think about when ordering. Still overall good mask.
