I was already familiar with the matte revolution formula, which is my absolute favorite. I got coverstar because I was very curious - I know that with this kind of shade it's either love it or hate it. I didn't know how it would work on my rather fair complexion... well it is now my favorite shade. I think I could even wear it on its own, but it looks fabulous with a brown-ish, warm toned lip liner - this combo and I are now joined forever haha!! I think it works even better if you have a warm/golden undertone as I do. Perfect lipstick for my coloring.
