Cult Status Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the Cult Status Loyalty Programme promoted and operated by THG Beauty Limited (trading as Cult Beauty).
1. These terms and conditions (‘Terms and Conditions’) govern the Cult Status Loyalty Programme (‘Cult Status’), which includes the collection and redemption of Status Points (‘Points’) and any Cult Status rewards. These Terms and Conditions set out the terms of contract between THG Beauty Limited (‘us’, ‘we’ and ‘our’) via Cult Beauty and each member of Cult Status (‘Member’, ‘You’, ‘Your’).
2. Cult Status is intended for personal use only to reward customers of Cult Beauty with rewards and Points based on spend exclusively with Cult Beauty. Points are intended to be converted to cash rewards and spent on future purchases with Cult Beauty.
3. Cult Status is open to all Cult Beauty customers onwww.cultbeauty.co.uk and www.cultbeauty.com (‘Website’) aged 16 or over.
4. You will automatically be enrolled into Cult Status when you create an online account or log in to an existing online account on either Website. Members are only entitled to one Cult Status account each. Cult Beauty reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time and to forfeit points issued to such account without liability.
5. By enrolling into Cult Status, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions so we recommend that you read these carefully.
6. The Points are issued by and remain the property of Cult Beauty who may, at any time, terminate or alter the operation of Cult Status or make changes to these Terms and Conditions and will give you reasonable notice of any amends. Earning or redeeming Points will be seen as acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
7. You may opt out of Cult Status at any time by logging into your account on the Website and selecting ‘Opt Out’.
8. You will start earning Points when you place an order and it has been dispatched.
9. You will earn 1 point for every £1 you spend on www.cultbeauty.co.uk (excluding shipping costs).
10. To earn Points on purchases on the Website, you must be signed into your Cult Beauty account at the point of purchase. Points earned on www.cultbeauty.co.uk are separate from those earned on www.cultbeauty.com and cannot be transferred between accounts.
11. Where you make a purchase on the Website in your local currency, the number of Points you earn will be calculated using the British Pounds Sterling value of your purchase in accordance with the exchange rate on the day of the transaction.
12. Points will be added to your account within 48 hours of dispatch of the purchase made on the Website.
13. Where a refund is issued in accordance with the Cult Beauty Returns Policy, any Points you earned for the refunded purchase will be deducted from your Cult Status account.
14. You can earn 10 Points for every verified product review submitted on the Website. The review must correspond to a product in your order history purchased after 1st November 2021 and the Points will only be added if your review has been verified. Reviews submitted on products purchased before 1st November 2021 will not be eligible. A maximum of 10 reviews per month will earn Points. Cult Beauty reserves the right to remove Points earned via product reviews if you exceed the maximum allowance.
15. We may occasionally offer promotions under which you may earn additional Points. Any such promotion will be subject to the terms and conditions issued with that promotion.
16. Cult Beauty may set a limit on the number of times Points may be awarded for promotional items on which additional Points are available. Individual promotions may have different limits as communicated in their purchase conditions. Any participation in promotional offers above and beyond what could objectively be considered consumer behaviour or personal use may be considered as abuse of Cult Status.
17. You can check your Cult Status Points balance at any time via your account on the Website.
18. The Points you earn will remain in your Cult Status account until they are converted into Credit (defined below) or until they expire.
19. Points are non-transferrable.
20. The maximum Points available to earn per transaction is capped at 5,000.
21. The maximum Points a Member can accumulate over a 12 month period is 10,000.
22. You will earn 1 point for every €1 you spend on www.cultbeauty.com (excluding shipping costs).
23. To earn Points on purchases on the Website, you must be signed into your Cult Beauty account at the point of purchase. Points and Credit earned on www.cultbeauty.co.uk are separate from those earned on www.cultbeauty.com and cannot be transferred between accounts.
24. Where you make a purchase on the Website in your local currency, the number of Points you earn will be calculated using the Euro (EUR) value of your purchase in accordance with the exchange rate on the day of the transaction.
26. Points can be converted into account credit (‘Credit’) to spend on the Website.
27. For every 100 Points earned you will be eligible for £5 Credit.
28. At the time of converting your Points to Credit you will have a choice of currency. If your preferred currency is not GBP you should select your currency at the time of conversion.
29. After you have converted Points to Credit you will not be able to exchange your Credit for an alternative currency.
30. For local currencies the value of Credit is based on the exchange rate and may be subject to change.
31. To convert your Points into Credit, you must log in to your account on the Website and follow the instructions provided. Once your Points have been converted, they will be deducted from your Cult Status Points balance and you will receive the corresponding amount of Credit.
32. Points can only be converted in multiples of £5 Credit.
33. Credit received from converting Points will expire after 30 days.
34. Credit is valid for a single transaction only.
35. Credit earned on www.cultbeauty.co.uk is separate from Credit earned on www.cultbeauty.com and cannot be transferred between accounts.
36. Credit cannot be exchanged or used to purchase Cult Beauty gift vouchers.
37. You can see your eligible Credit and converted Credit when you log in to your account on the Website.
38. For every 100 Points earned you will be eligible for €5 Credit.
39. At the time of converting your Points to Credit you will have a choice of currency. If your preferred currency is not EUR you should select your currency at the time of conversion.
40. Points can only be converted in multiples of €5 Credit.
41. You will be assigned a level ('Level') based on your accumulated Points balance.
42. If you make purchases on www.cultbeauty.co.uk and www.cultbeauty.com, your Level may be different based on your separate Points balances.
43. You will remain in your Level for 12 months (‘Membership Year’), unless your accumulated Points balance reaches a higher Level threshold which will result in you entering a new Level.
44. To maintain your Level for a further 12 months, you must earn enough Points to the threshold of that Level before the Membership Year ends or you will be moved to a lower Level based on the total Points earned during your Membership Year.
45. Your Level is limited to the spend made via your Cult Status account. Any spend outside of your Cult Status account will not contribute to your Level.

47. Your Level determines a number of perks (‘Perks’) that are available to use during the Membership Year.
48. Perks will differ between Websites and are subject to change.
49. Free Standard Delivery is available for Members in Level Two and Three on www.cultbeauty.co.uk and will be automatically applied to orders shipping to the UK through the deduction of the current Standard Delivery cost. To be valid for Free Standard delivery, minimum order value of £10 applies.
50. Free Next Day Delivery is available for Members in Level Three on www.cultbeauty.co.uk and will be automatically applied to orders shipping to the UK through the deduction of the current Next Day Delivery cost. To be valid for Free Next Day delivery, minimum order value of £10 applies.
51. A delivery saving on every order is available for Members in Level Three on www.cultbeauty.com and will automatically be applied to orders through the deduction of €10 on every order. Abuse of this perk may result in it being revoked. Minium order value of €10 applies.
52. Perks associated with your birthday are based on the provision of a valid date of birth prior to the first day of your birthday month. Full terms & conditions on birthday promotions can be found here.
53. 10 Points can be earned for every verified product review submitted on the Website. The review must correspond to a product in your order history purchased after 1st November 2021 and the Points will only be added if your review has been verified. 54. Cult Beauty may decline to issue, withdraw or cancel Cult Status accounts or points (in whatever form) and / or remove a Member from the programme at any time where Cult Beauty has a reasonable belief of:
- any abuse or attempted abuse of Cult Status;
- any breach or attempted breach of these Terms and Conditions;
- any behaviour relating to Cult Status or Cult Beauty that involves theft, misconduct, abusive or offensive behaviour, or supplying false or misleading information.
55. Points awarded may be removed or cancelled if Cult Beauty determines that the points were collected in breach of these Terms and Conditions or were awarded in error. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of our staff that is contrary to these Terms and Conditions will not have the effect of changing these Terms and Conditions.
