Making its much-anticipated jump across the pond (to debut in the UK exclusively on our online shelves), skin care doesn’t get more ‘cult’ than U.S. brand Kate Somerville. Powered by acne-busting 3% sulphur, this luxuriously whipped, medicated cleanser helps to clear breakouts, dissolve impurities and minimise the appearance of pores without – and here’s the magic part – over-drying skin. Unlike some stripping acne treatments, this foaming formula penetrates skin without disrupting its delicate balance, calming and soothing stressed complexions with redness-reducing honey and rice bran extracts and sebum-balancing natural oat extract.
Specially formulated to address acne, EradiKate Cleanser by Kate Somerville is a medicated, luxuriously whipped foaming cleanser that draws out impurities without over-drying skin. Utilising unique foam-activated technology, the cleanser penetrates skin to dissolve impurities, dirt and excess oil. 3% sulphur reduces the appearance of existing blemishes while helping to prevent future breakouts, gently exfoliating dead skin cells and unclogging pores without stripping skin or disrupting its delicate balance. To calm and soothe stressed complexions, an advanced, patented botanical complex is also added into the mix, including redness-reducing honey extracts, sebum-balancing oat extract and rice bran extract, which hydrates and offers the antioxidant protection of vitamin E. Part of Kate Somerville’s best-loved EradiKate range, skin care doesn’t get much more ‘cult’ than this ingenious cleanser, which promises a clearer complexion for those battling breakouts. (N.b. This is strong stuff and can cause dryness – see ‘How To Use’ for details.)

Great for sensitive blemish prone skin
I have super sensitive, blemish prone skin. It leaves your skin soft and super clean. Unfortunately it is quite expensive.
Report this reviewPerfect cleanser
I love Kate Somerville's products and I discovered them thanks to this cleanser! Although indicated for acneic or impure skins, it is also perfect for my sensitive skin around ovulation or post "my period", when I have some skin imperfections. It's super delicate and doesn't dry the skin at all, a small amount is enough for the whole face.
Report this reviewamazing cleanser
I don't usually purchase such expensive cleansers, so this was a splurge for me, but it was so, so worth it. will repurchase!
Report this reviewLove this cleanser
I have fully used up like 6 bottles of this cleanser already! It really is a holy grail for me. It really cleared up my skin and doesn’t dry it out anywhere near as much as most cleansers, who claim to fight acne and imperfections. I have quite sensitive skin and the Kate Somerville eradikate doesn’t  irritate my skin or leave it inflamed and red. The cleanser doesn’t leave my skin looking dull either! I can really recommend this cleanser to anyone struggling with breakouts but sensitive skin.
Report this reviewAmazing for acne-prone skin
I've been hearing about this cleanser for years and I'm glad I finally decided to pick it up. I use it every morning when I cleanse my face after my workout and it has done wonders for my skin! It cleans very well without leaving your skin feeling dry, and it keeps my very acne-prone skin blemish-free. I'm now close to finishing it and have already bought a back-up, it is now my go-to morning cleanser. It's an amazing product and I wish I tried it earlier.

My face feels clean but I’m still breaking out and getting blackheadsÂ
Report this reviewBest cleanser for sensitive acne prone skin
I tried so many popular cleansers from different big brands for my sensitive Acne prone skin (cerave, dermalogica etc..),but nothing worked for me except this amazing product. This foaming formula doesn't dry my skin, but it works really well and makes my pores super clean. I would definitely recommend for someone who needs to handle the blackheads in a gentle way.
Report this reviewGood face wash
A good cleanser for more oily & acne-prone skin. I don't use this every day, as I can imagine it being a bit drying. It works great for areas that are more congested, leaving it smooth and clean! It is a bit fragrant, so be aware of that if you aren't into that.
Report this reviewGreat cleanser for oily, acne-prone skin!
I have sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin (bit complicated, I know) and I found this a great cleanser. It doesn't smell the best, but it lathers really well and a tiny bit goes a long way. It isn't drying and it didn't break me out at all. It helped to clear my skin more and I used it twice a day every day as part of my skincare routine.
Report this reviewToo drying
I got this cleanser after suffering with constant breakouts between October - November last year. I used it daily and noticed that it really dried my skin out... I have quite sensitive but oily skin so this has never happened to me (apart from when using doctor prescribed spot treatment). After noticing that my skin around my chin was starting to flake I quickly stopped using this product. I then went for a facial in December (approx 3/4 weeks after I stopped using this cleanser) and my facialist commented on the fact that I was really dry and dehydrated around my skin. I hadn't even mentioned that I had tried a different cleanser but for whatever reason she noticed. I haven't touched this cleanser since and have pretty much a whole bottle left. I think it might have been OK if I had used it once per week, or maybe when suffering with a really bad breakout, but I think that using this as a daily cleanser could have actually had quite a bad effect on my skin. Obviously everyone's skin is different but for me this just didn't work.
