TOWER 28

Named after California’s lifeguard tower (that sits where Santa Monica meets Venice Beach), Tower 28 encompasses what the landmark connotes – community and fun and healthy living. Founded by Amy Liu, the brand consciously creates make up that even those with sensitive skin can experiment with. Boosting a silky, soothed and smooth sign off, Tower 28’s selection of highlighters, bronzers and lip glosses enhance a SoCal glow, no matter when you are in the world.

DISCOVER TOWER 28:

Built on the philosophy that everyone should enjoy experimenting with make up looks – even those with sensitive skin – Tower 28 Beauty dreams up soothing formulas that you can get creative with, without irritating from within. From hydrating blush balms to soothing lip jellys, the brand’s collection covers all bases while being vegan and cruelty free.

MEET THE FOUNDER:

Suffering with sensitive skin – specifically eczema – her entire adult life, Amy Liu dreamt up Tower 28 in a bid to create covetable cosmetics no matter your skin care concerns. After working for 15 plus years as a beauty executive, Amy found herself limited to clinical brands as opposed to those that inject a little creativity into their cosmetics. Understanding what her skin needed, the beauty enthusiast made it her mission to emphasise that make up needn’t be serious when tackling targeted issues, instead it should be experimental with formulas free from irritants and toxins. Thus, Tower 28 Beauty was born.

#ITSOKAYTOBESENSITIVE

A make up brand your skin can count on, Tower 28 understands that we all get a little sensitive sometimes. With that in mind, it created its #ItsOkayToBeSensitive campaign, which follows the National Eczema Association's ingredient guidelines while avoiding known irritants and allergens for those with sensitive skin (including essential oils and synthetic fragrances). All Tower 28’s products are hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested for the best and healthiest results.
