L'OCCITANE

Hailing from Provence and powered by the region's world-renowned ingredients, L'OCCITANE has been upgrading skin care rituals since 1976. From the nutritive oil of the immortelle flower, sourced from the island of Corsica, to the first fresh sprigs of rosemary distilled by founder, Oliver Baussan, L'OCCITANE remains committed to creating spa-inspired luxury in everything it does. We say, a much deserved pamper session is on the horizon…

DISCOVER L'OCCITANE

Sharing nature’s wonders with the world, L'OCCITANE’s believes beauty goes beyond what you can see. With that in mind, the brand uses a holistic approach to create products that look after both you and your planet. Creating positive change, everything from the label’s soothing Almond Shower Oil to the signature shea butter body lotion nourishes and natures from the inside out.

SUSTAINABLE SOURCING IS A PRIORITY

Committed to only using the best ingredients, L'OCCITANE is passionate about where and how these are sourced. With that in mind, the brand works directly with 140 farmers and over 10,000 pickers to ensure its ingredients are cultivated as sustainably as possible. L'OCCITANE products are also sourced locally, where possible, to support regional businesses and reduce its carbon footprint. The only ingredient not found locally is the Shea Butter — which is purchased from 100% Fair-Trade Certified women-run cooperatives in Burkina Faso & Ghana, giving economic independence to over 10,000 women.

COMMITTED TO GIVING BACK

Not only is L'OCCITANE devoted to where its ingredients are sourced, respecting the biodiversity of the environment and empowering women, but the brand also strives to give back to communities across the world. Within the UK, L'OCCITANE has donated to Shelter UK, tree planting organisation PUR, UNICEF, Womens Aid, Surfers Against Sewage and the NHS. In 2021 L'OCCITANE was recognised by EcoVadis for its #NotJustSuppliers global sustainable procurement program.

RECYCLING PROMISE

Passionate about the impact that it has on the environment, L'OCCITANE pledged to transition using 100% sustainable PET plastic by 2025 and is well on the way to achieving this goal...early!
