Our Pick of the Oscars’ Beauty Looks

Margot Robbie, Rosamund PIke & Emma Stone Oscars 2015

Once I’d succeeded in dragging my covetous eyes away from Margot Robbie’s tasseled neck confection (NEVER not wanting tassels), I realised I was similarly impressed with her knock-em-dead beauty look. Those brows, those lips, that side-swept bob *SWOON*! If you too are blessed with blunt, shoulder-skimming locks then enhance their lustre with Sachajuan’s {Shine Serum} – raking through with fingers to achieve great gloss and separation. And for that gorgeous, cochineal lip look use OCC’s {Cosmetic Colour Pencil} in ‘Grandma’ to create the perfect shape (you can do some clever {contouring} if lips are on the small side), before ‘filling in’ with Julie Hewett’s {Lipstick Noir} in ‘Belle’ – a stunning, 50s coral/rouge.

Whether Margot and Rosamund deliberately coordinated pout-and-gown is not determined, but RP’s pared back make up was the perfect foil for that form-fitting frock (her best red carpet look this year). Her porcelain skin and pale pink blush enhanced her ‘English Rose’ fragility – all that was required was a hint of peachy shadow to help make those blue eyes ‘pop’. Try Sunday Riley’s {Prismasilk Eye Colour} in ‘Camille’ – a shimmering, sandy/pink that makes you ‘look alive’ in moments.

We’ve got a major girl crush on Ms. Stone. The babe has not put one directionally-clad foot wrong all season, and we’re besotted with that wavy, copper crop. Julie Hewett’s {Cat Eye Pen} is perfect for creating a precision, feline flick – while NudeStix {Lip and Cheek Pencil} in ‘Ripe’ is the ultimate, fuzzy-peach shade – creamy, convenient and clutch-bag friendly.

Naomi Watts, Lupita Nyong'o & Julianne Moore Oscars 2015

Always flawless with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll, Naomi Watts looked breath-taking. We HEART the asymmetric tousled mane and subtle, berry lip (totally ‘on trend’). Use T3 Haircare’s {Single Pass Straightening Iron} to create the chunky, segmented effect – spritzing with Living Proof’s {Instant Texture Mist} to hold and amplify the ‘tszuj’. Then apply a quick slick of Jouer’s {Lip Sheer} in shade ‘Positano’ – a sexy, blackcurrant stain – and you’re good to go.

Can we pause for a moment to appreciate Luptia’s luminescence? Her skin looked lit-from-within – perfectly pearlescent (like her pearl-encrusted gown). {Prtty Peaushun} is available in a spectrum of shades and stars shimmering, champagne highlights for a subtle, top-to-toe glow.

Julianne Moore was her usual, immaculate self. A picture of poise and perfection, her sleek, low-slung bun and minimal make up were stunningly strawberries-and-cream. Her eyebrows were enhanced to frame her features – fellow Titian’s should choose Anastasia Beverly Hills’ {Brow Wiz} in ‘Auburn’ or ‘Caramel’ – then lend lips and cheeks a subtle flush with Julie Hewett’s {Cheekie} in shade ‘Destiny’ – a delicate, dusky rose shade.
