After working for some of the biggest names in beauty, trailblazing make up artist Danessa Myricks set out to create a brand that is multifunctional and inclusive of all ages, skin tones and genders. Her cult products combine beauty with artistry to deliver high-performance, ground-breaking looks you can achieve at home. Case in point: the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - aka your new secret weapon for an ultra-smooth, glowing complexion. Starring upsalite, a revolutionary Swedish ingredient, this unique formula adjusts its oil absorption to address your skin's specific needs throughout the day. Magic? It feels - and looks - like it.
Ready to meet your new dream base? The Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder does exactly what its name suggests, while drenching your skin in hydration and balancing oil production.
It's powered by hyaluronic acid and Swedish upsalite - a first-of-its kind, ultra-porous form of magnesium carbonate, which is twice as absorbent as talc, while also being a cleaner, more sustainable option. Olive-derived squalane is also key in this groundbreaking formula, supporting oil production and diminishing visible signs of ageing. Expect a petal-like texture that feels like a balm but sets like a powder, giving a long-lasting, shine-free look. Choose from 11 shades to find your perfect match.
Magnesium Carbonate, Isohexadecane, C13-15 Alkane, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Squalane, Synthetic Wax, Synthetic Candelilla Wax, Kaolin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Glyceryl Behenate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Microcrystalline Wax/Cera Microcristallina/Cire Microcrystalline, Polyethylene, Stearoxy Dimethicone.

Different in a good way!
This stuff is crazy! The colour matched perfectly. I looked at a lot of swatches online. My sister who is a shade lighter than me uses the same shade and it works on her (?!). It leaves a natural finish and looks very smooth. Ita not a thick balm. I don't need much and use a brush when I don't want to use my hands and the effect is just fine. I like to set it with powder. Up close if I've gone in heavy, after a whileI feel like you can see the pores but honestly, I take one step back and it looks blurry smooth. So crazy. And that's without primer. I'm still to experiment with the translucent balm as a primer to see how that goes. My skin is oily, FYI and I live in QLD, Australia (gets hot!)

Not my fav
I might not have the right skin type for this. It feels very slippery on my skin but looks beautiful at first. After some while it starts settling into my lines

Keeps me matte
Compared to no primer it keeps my face matte significantly longer. But I do feel Like this is giving me more breakouts when i use it often.

I was sure it was unnecessary but....
I was so sure that I would try this and think it would be so unnecessary but I've been loving the way my makeup looks with this. I've been using it under my foundation and been loving it. Creates a better blurred canvas. It's quite pricey but for deals and discounts it's a bit more tolerable for the poor wallet :D

Extremely strong smell of gasoline
Received either the bad batch or the reformulation, idk, but the smell is really strong. Too bad, because as a foundation, it was a great one!
