Liquid Gold Radiance is a gentle, but effective way to combat hyperpigmentation. It's all you need to gently resurface lack-lustre complexions and restore luminosity to dull or sun damaged skin. Ideal for improving the appearance of discolouration - whether due to pregnancy, hormonal changes or ageing - this potent elixir harnesses the power of nature's finest acids and botanicals, to combat patchiness and help restore an even skin-tone and texture.

Alpha H made their name with the cult White Gold & this is the upgraded 2.0 version. Liquid Gold Radiance contains a cocktail of brightening agents to target hyperpigmentation & improve the overall tone & surface of your skin. Glycolic Acid stimulates collagen production; Niacinamide inhibits melanin production to reduce the appearance of age spots; Hibiscus Flower Extract helps lighten dark patches & Cucumber Seed Extract lightens and brightens, to unify skin-tone & restore a healthy glow.

Dispense four drops of Liquid Gold Radiance and apply each alternate night to cleansed face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the delicate eye and lip areas. A slight tingling sensation may be experienced. For a more intensive effect, do not follow with a night cream, but allow the solution to work 'uninterrupted'. Liquid Gold Radiance can also be used to 'spot-treat' problem areas each morning after cleansing. Always combine with daily SPF protection to protect glycolic acid-treated skin.

Helps With My Acne Scarring

I did get redness and breakouts at first, just like I did with the Liquid Gold but my sensitive skin soon got used to it after about 3 days. After 2 weeks I started to see visible results, skin was brighter and more even. Been using for 2 years now and has cleared all my old acne scarring. Shame I still get hormonal breakouts around the jawline. TIP: Use daily under Alpha-H Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF50. No matter what the weather, you should always use sunscreen if you're trying to get rid of scarring and slowdown the ageing process. This moisturiser also includes Vitamin E, an antioxidant to help protect and repair.

Evens out skin tone

This definitely evens out skin tone - I notice a clear difference when I apply it at night right before bed. I'll generally use a gentle balm cleanser followed by the Alpha- h, and I find that the next morning my skin just looks a lot better- it gives a definite glow. I wouldn't recommend it if you have super sensitive skin or if your skin has reacted poorly in the past to chemical exfoliants. :)

Patch Test Made Me Red

I got this for Christmas last December even though I had asked for the normal Liquid Gold. I patch tested this on my cheek and it turned me very red where I had tested it and made me get three medium sized red pimples. I haven't used it since. I use the actual Liquid Gold product (the one that says Liquid Gold with Glycolic Acid) and that doesn't irritate my skin or make me red even though I have sensitive red skin! Don't know what irritated me in this product but it may not be suitable for red and sensitive skins.
