The serum feels nice/okay, i can even use it instead of a moisturizer on my combination skin at night. I'm giving it 2 stars because of the smell and the colour/texture change. I'm not someone for who the smell of their skincare is super important, i mostly use fragrance free products, and sometimes they can smell a bit funny from the raw ingredients which i usually don't mind, but this serum smells bad. Like it has gone off or something. And also at first the texture was a bit milky, and suddenly it's more clear. Very weird. So that in combination with the smell being really really bad I don't want to continue using it because I feel like the formula is not stable.

Consistency?
This is my 4th time purchasing this product and each time the consistency of the serum is a bit different. This last time as soon as I received it it had a much stronger scent than usual and after only a couple weeks of using it the product has curdled(?) There are visible chunks in the product that don’t blend out and I have to pick them off my face. I don’t think I can continue using this. I had noticed a reduction in acne spots prior to this, but I don’t feel like the product is reliable enough in its consistency for the pros to outweigh the cons for me. I’m disappointed because when the consistency is right I really enjoy it.

Liquid gold
This lightweight oil (with a great water break) is incredibly good. It tames inflammation and helps with stubborn texture, not drying the skin (but actually hydrating it). I love the brand philosophy of treating acne with barrier function in mind. Definitely going to repurchase.

Lovely texture
I really like the almost foamy texture of this oil. I got it in an edit, so I didn't specifically purchase it for breakouts, but I love how my skin feel after application. I use it at night before my moisturizer.
