The Tata Harper must-haves CB’s editor can’t live without

Trying to select my {Tata Harper} favourites is like asking a parent to pick their ‘best’ child. With a catalogue of bathroom cabinet must-haves, I’ve uuumed and aahed at length before whittling my wardrobe of essentials down to three, ‘won’t ever be without them’ hero products. From my desktop go-to to the cleanser I keep coming back to, this {Tata Harper} trio is my skin care ‘holy trinity’.

As a beauty editor, I’ve dabbled with more than my fair share of cleansers but, few are so addictive that they curb my fickle streak. Not only has Tata Harper’s {Nourishing Oil Cleanser} earned my loyalty, but the grass green glass bottle looks gorgeous on my bathroom #shelfie (incredibly important in the age of Instagram). Like liquid silk, this luxurious yellow-green oil makes light work of dissolving the ‘day’ – melting dirt and make up while infusing skin with moisture so my face feels soft and supple with a satisfying ‘bounce’. Perfect for my oily/combination complexion, this respects my face’s foibles to help keep things clear and calm. I’m obsessed (and it smells like heaven) – ideal for an at-home spa session.

Never without a mist, I’m seduced by good looks but often disappointed. Many mists are simply mists – refreshing when applied but dubiously beneficial. Not the case with Tata’s {Hydrating Floral Essence} which is a glamorous addition to my desk (and permanent handbag fixture) that plumps and grants a gorgeous, dewy glow to my lacklustre, midday visage. Great for counteracting dehydrating air conditioning, this spritz feels like a serum – quenching cells’ thirst and imparting a natural glow. This is essential for flights to help combat the cruel cabin atmosphere – I mist religiously while on the aeroplane to ensure I land looking fresh, not fatigued.

And the brilliant, Caroline Hirons-approved {Restorative Eye Crème} is the cornerstone of my skin care routine. Applied morning and evening, just the tiniest bead of this velvety fluid works wonders – cushioning the fragile skin around the eyes and waging war on crow’s feet to keep crêpey-ness at bay. I use my ring fingers to ‘pat’ repeatedly until the cream is totally absorbed, then follow with concealer to disguise those tell-tale signs of tiredness. A brilliant primer for make up, this multi-tasking eye cream isn’t cheap, but don’t be put off by the price tag – the bottle lasts for aaaages and the age-defying benefits are real. It’s an incredible sk-investment. 5 Stars from yours truly!
