How To: The Perfect Nude Lip with NYX Professional Makeup

Beloved for her straight-talking, easy-going character and insane make up skills, vlogger and make up artist {Jamie Genevieve} has used {NYX Professional Makeup} to create this incredible nude lipped-and-smoky eyed look.

Everything starts with the perfect canvas – achieve Jamie’s demi-matte skin finish with {Stay Matte But Not Flat Liquid Foundation}, applied with a dense buffing brush to ensure an ‘HD’ skin finish. To help your base remain immaculate for longer, spritz your bristles with {Setting Spray (Long Lasting) – Matte} – and polish your base using circular motions, to keep things crease-free and pristine until bedtime.

Define your features with the {Highlight & Contour Pro Palette} – using the deeper contour shades to enhance hollows, and your choice of highlight shade to help your cheek and brow bones ‘pop’ – then get set to mimic that smoky smoulder…

Use a soft shadow brush to blend {Jumbo Eye Pencil} in ‘Rust’ to achieve Jamie’s soft wash of crimson, then line the lashline and define waterline with ‘Black Bean’ – softening to create a beguiling, ‘lived in’ look.

For a ‘pop’ of colour, apply {Slide On Pencil} in the shade ‘Golden Bronze’ to the upper eyelid – it grants a high-impact metallic flash – then create lustrous lashes with 2-3 coats of {Doll Eye Mascara Volume} for formidable flutter.

Finally, cloak lips with {Soft Matte Lip Cream} in shade ‘London’ – a beautiful peachy-beige nude – before spritzing your skin with the Matte Setting Spray to ‘fix’ your face in place for hours.
