Things We Finish: Empties #3

A rather hefty roll call of skin and hair care heroes this time. Team CB have collectively finished up (and almost instantly re-purchased) ALL of the above – and below are the honourable mentions…

Our designer Maria is one for aesthetics, therefore only the best looking cleansers gain access to her stylish bathroom. Aesop’s gorgeous {A Rose by Any Other Name Body Cleanser} (3rd from left) smells sweet, spicy and conditions dry skin with hydrating, botanical extracts. And it’s ridiculously good looking…

Less pretty – but we don’t judge books by covers (much) – Maria is now on her third tub of Aduna’s {Baobab Superfruit Powder} (far right), which is brimming with powerful antioxidants, immunity-boosting vitamin C and fibre, to keep skin glowing and protect against colds. Just sprinkle a spoonful on your breakfast every morning.

Sachajuan is out in force (as always). My personal obsession with the brand’s sleek styling and strand-strengthening ‘Ocean Silk Technology’ knows no bounds, and I’m particularly pleased with their invigorating {Scalp Shampoo} and the {Intensive Hair Oil} – both of which smell heavenly, and work wonders when it comes to transforming hair health.

Jen, our Senior Marketing whizz, cannot get enough of Emma Hardie’s {Moringa Cleansing Balm} (or the super-soft, double-sided cloths for that matter). Her bathroom cabinet resembles a scene from As Good As It Gets – with perfect pots of this make up-melting, skin-soothing cleansing balm stockpiled in case of apocalypse (but that’s where the Jack Nicholson/Melvin Udall similarities end… promise).

And on the topic of cleansers, Su-Man’s {Purifying Cleansing Gel Oil} literally smells like rainbows – and is brimming with complexion-balancing ingredients to effortlessly take the day off and leave dulled skin looking luminous. It also has the most ingenious dispenser – a clever twist-cap situation which is mind-bogglingly brilliant (prepare to be amazed).

No ’empties’ post would be complete without at least a couple of Anastasia’s {Brow Wiz} pencils – which CB Towers get through quicker than Prosecco. These ultra-fine brow definers are ideal for drawing feathery, hair-like strokes to create full, beautifully groomed arches.

And there’s more… Living Proof’s {No Frizz Leave-In Conditioner}, Grown Alchemist’s {Vanilla & Orange Peel Hand Cream}, Davines’ {NaturalTech Well-Being De Stress Lotion}, Oskia’s {Micro Exfoliating Balm}, Aurelia’s {Refine & Polish Miracle Balm} and Verso’s retinol-rich {Day Cream}.
