Christy Turlington’s Cult Beauty Picks

The secrets to Christy Turlington's Ageless Beauty

Ever wondered quite how supermodel Christy Turlington successfully defies the ageing process, and manages to look as youthful and luminous now (aged 45) as she did when she first gazed ethereally from those super-cool black and white CK campaigns? We think it’s probably because she’s secretly superhuman (and does a headstand every morning – gravity working in reverse works wonders). But alongside impeccable genes and healthy living, there are one or two products Christy swears buy, to keep her skin glowing and hair looking healthy.

I’ve learned how to blow-dry my hair from the pros, but I do live across the street from a small salon, so if I need to have it done I just run over there. I use Rahua {Shampoo} because it’s organic and follow with its {Finishing Treatment}, which sorts out my ends.’

‘If you do one thing a day, make it a headstand. It’s the king of all postures and has so many benefits. It helps me sleep better and focus. I can’t imagine my life without yoga. It’s more than just a physical practice — it’s about being in the present and learning to accept what you have to reach your full potential.

So, if you find yourself near Farringdon and spot a band of mad, inverted women – chances are its CB’s marketing team, doing a ‘Christy’…
