Beautyblender at Dior s/s 2011

The brilliantly sharp style blog, Diary of a Fashion Mister, has spotted one of our favourite products backstage at the Christian Dior show in Paris in his pertinent ode to pink post. The fuchsia-fabulous Beautyblender (pictured left being used on Siri Tollerod) was used to create the perfect foundation finish on all the models.

We are so happy to see this wonderfully optimistic shade of rose is back in fashion, it looks brilliant on all skin tones. If used SPARINGLY as a blusher it can take 10 years off. As an eyeshadow it is slightly harder to pull off, creating a right-on, high fashion look for the more adventurous amongst us. But I suspect the main way this colour will manifest in our make up wardrobes is in a lipstick form. alexia inge
