Founded by industry outsiders in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2007, amika prides itself on celebrating all hair types, textures and styles. Boasting products, tools and treatments that yield top-notch results — whatever your wishes — this indie brand is the stylist-slash-saviour of your hair dreams, while being Leaping Bunny and vegan certified too. Now, the amika team are bringing beautiful, beachy waves to your bedroom with the Jumbo High Tide Deep Waver. Create undulating waves — whether they’re sleek and defined or loose and tousled — without causing any heat damage to your strands.
Lightweight and easy to use, the Jumbo High Tide Deep Waver is amika’s ultra-versatile tool designed to create shiny, loose and bigger waves compared to the 0.7” barrel of the original beachy-wave tool.
Whether you’re after big, beachy waves or something sleeker and more defined, this next-gen crimper can help you achieve it. Three’s a charm, which is why a trio of ceramic barrels work together to deliver heat evenly onto strands, creating deep S-bends in locks that can be customised to your desired look. And for a frizz-free finish, the waver uses far-infrared technology to lock in moisture, and negative irons to seal the hair cuticle. Hello, long-lasting, super smooth styles.
Section hair into half up, half down. Position your thumb on the indent at the clip of the Jumbo Deep Waver.
Take one to two inch section of hair. Press to open the Deep Waver clamp. Holding the tool horizontally, insert the desired hair section. Release the hold so the clamp is closed with the hair in between the barrel and clamp. Hold the Deep Waver in place for about five seconds. The longer the hair is pressed, the more defined the waves will be.
Press to open and continue downward to the next area of the selected hair section. Repeat down the entire section of hair until the whole length is waved.
Continue throughout hair. For face framing pieces, hold the Deep Waver at a slightly downward angle (parallel to your cheekbones).
This tool comes complete with a standard UK plug.
110/240V.
