Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

A must-try for any Drunk Elephant devotee, this brand new Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser unites a clever oil to milk cleanser that when used on dry skin with dry hands, effectively melts away all traces of dirt, debris, make up and sunscreen – even water-resistant formulations.
Free from the suspicious six, Slaai is infused with antioxidant rich fruit extracts and oils to help soothe skin while an African oil blend of marula, baobab, Kalahari melon, mongongo and ximenia, intensely moisturises, restores elasticity and helps to recover your skin's luminosity. Designed to be used on dry skin, Slaai removes excess oil, grime and make up from skin. Adding water activates Slaai into a milk that rinses cleanly, leaving behind a dewy glow. Use the accompanying Bamboo Booster – a physical exfoliant, formed from ultra-fine bamboo and charcoal spheres, once or twice a week to gently slough away build-up and dead skin cells to help reveal a dewy complexion.
PM: On dry skin, use dry fingertips to massage Slaai over face and eyes. Add water to activate, rinse well with warm water and pat dry. May also be removed with a soft, damp cloth.
AM: (optional) 1-2 times per week, add our Bamboo Booster to Slaai for a customised, skin-refining physical exfoliation to aid in the removal of dead skin cells that have accumulated on the surface overnight. Avoid the eye area when using the exfoliating booster.
Tip: If using retinol, we recommend avoiding Bamboo Booster, or using with caution, as it can be too much for skin.

I keep returning it this
I keep going back to this cleansing balm. I try others but this takes everything off my face including waterproof mascara and liner. Skin doesn’t feel dry or strippedÂ
Report this reviewAmazing 🤩
Love this cleanser and is definitely one of my best beauty finds !!! I have used many balm cleansers and most have been more expensive than this one from Drunk Elephant. I would definitely rate this way above Bobbi Brown which I found to be so tacky in texture and this is also better at removing makeup than the Elemis balm and much more long lasting than both of the above. I also loved using Sunday Riley balm and found it refreshing but a little harsher than this one and coming in at much greater price point so without doubt I will repurchase this one from Drunk Elephant…love it !!!!
Report this reviewWashes the day away
I love using this it's so satisfying to just melt the day away. I have acne-prone skin and struggle with skincare and I'm pleased to say this does not break me out. Love it!
Report this reviewReally unpleasant to use - its my last resort
I am a big fan of the Emma Hardie - Moringa Balm, I was excited to try this as I bought it with other Drunk Elephant Products (this is the DE recommendation) and thought it would be a similar product. Honestly, I am using this right now to 'use' it, I hate waste. Its smells horrendous, like others described like chip fat, not very calming going to sleep. One Cult Beauty Staff member describes this as scentless, this is not true, it does have a scent and it is rancid. It doesn't matter to me the effectiveness of the product if I don't enjoy using it. The smallest amount of essential oil would make this product so much more enjoyable. Its a shame I won't be re-purchasing.
Report this reviewLeaves greasy cast
I am a big fan of cleansing balms and I couldn't wait to try it - I used my new member discount to buy it. The balm does the job and has nice bamboo beads if you want to make a physical exfoliator out of it. But it smells like butter and cannot be rinsed of fully. It leaves greasy cast and you can only take it off by using a tower. I will never repurchase.
Report this reviewGood cleanser, great package, awful smell
As a cleanser, it delivers on what it promises, although i didn't try it as an eye make-up remover. The package is genius, makes sure you never lose the little spoon. The smell reminds me of fish oil and can be quite intense, especially in the beginning.
Report this reviewExceptional Discovery!
The best cleanser balm I've ever tried, I love the moisturizing effect on the skin and at the same time your skin Is perfectly clean from makeup, soft and hydrated. I've got a mixed buy very sensitive skin, i definitely love the texture!
Report this reviewBálsamo desmaquillante
****** It removes makeup very well and does not leave a feeling of dryness when removing it, I remove it with a muslin and I do not feel that it leaves a residue but still I always do double cleaning so I do not have that problem that I have read on the networks. It has cost me a lot Finding a make-up removal balm without essential oils and that works so well for removing make-up, for me a 10.
Report this reviewAmazing!!!
I've tried several different makeup removers over the years, wipes, liquid, oils etc but nothing worked. I have sensitive skin and after using these removers, I would wake up the following day with red, teary, swollen eyes and an itchy face. Things changed when I tried this product. It's amazing. Melts make up in a matter of seconds (even waterproof mascara and eyeliner), doesn't cause any irritations, and can be easily washed off with some water. I'm repurchasing for sure.
Report this reviewLo ricomprerò! / I will buy it again!
Struccante in burro in versione mini. Mini make-up remover in butter. It dissolves easily, I use it mainly on the eyes, to eliminate mascara. You have to work it for thirty seconds, it also dissolves waterproof makeup. It does not cloud the view, it does not leave halos, it has no perfumes and it does not burn. It is effective and gentle.
