BEFORE & AFTER: LAURA GELLER’S PORTOFINO COLLECTION
The perfect post-holiday glow in a box, Laura Geller's {Portofino Collection} is a gorgeous, four-piece edit of complexion, lip and eye enhancers (and a dual-ended sponge applicator), to lend skin a beautiful (believable) gleam that's guaranteed to garner no end of 'have you been on holiday?' compliments.
Once I'd done a bit of subtle sculpting, I used the {Kabuki Brush} to dust and buff 'Frosting' all over my face and neck - layering gradually to achieve a degree of bronze I'm comfortable with (not much). I then used the little end of the applicator to apply Baked Highligter to the inner corners of each eye, along the 'high points' of my (non-existent) cheekbones, brow bones and cupid's bow - this powder highlighter is gorgeous - utterly buttery, non-glittery and just the right amount pearlescent to lend skin a healthy, lit-from-within lustre.
I curled my eyelashes and applied Style Lash Intense Lengthening Mascara to the tops and bottoms. The tapered wand coats every lash with jet black, glossy pigment - separating as it elongates to achieve a natural-looking set of fluttering fringes - perfect for daytime, I would add an extra coat to amp things up for evening.
And there you have it! A 'bella donna' beauty look, without so much as a smidge of Italian ancestry.
