We Love This Next-generation Foundation

It might look like a little space ship, but Clio’s {Kill Cover Founwear Cushion} is in fact, the future of foundation. Originating in Korea (obviously) – birthplace of every major beauty trend you’d care to mention (BB, CC, essence, sheet mask… the list goes on) – this pocket-sized compact will transform your face.

Maria, our super savvy Digital Designer, who’s already resigned most trends before they’ve hit the mainstream, is besotted with this base. “The first thing that attracted me was its name – ‘Kill Cover’ – I mean, could a name be any cooler? Then I fell for its design – the packaging is super cute and compact, so it’s perfect for on-the-go touch ups. It also comes with an extra puff sponge and a refill – you use the fluid foundation to saturate the cushion when it needs a top up. What has impressed me most however is the coverage – this camouflages every skin-sin whilst remaining lightweight – ideal if you love a dewy look.”

And that’s not all. Not only is this innovative formula possessed of serious perfecting skills, but it’s enriched with a cocktail of skin-beneficial extracts to enhance the clarity and luminosity of your complexion. Carbonated water maintains moisture levels, while honey helps to enhance elasticity and bolster skin’s defences. Fermented yeast and pearl extracts then combine to diminish dark spots and recover uniformity of tone, and antioxidant-rich tomato extract and essence of apple blossom work to dispel dulling dead skin cells and in turn, restore a more light-reflective surface.

The cushion means its near impossible to over-do it. Just press the ‘puff’ onto the cushion before ‘patting’ over face and neck – the effect is beautifully ‘airbrushed’ – and you can add an extra layer if you need a bit more help, or just prefer a ‘polished’ look.

Quirky, cool and exceptionally clever, we promise you – this base might save your life will revolutionise your make up wardrobe.
