Tatler Beauty Award Winners 2015

Tatler Beauty Awards 2015

Tatler have announced their 2015 beauty award-winners and of course, there are more than a handful of Cult Beauty faithfuls amongst them…

Winner: REN’s {Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask} won ‘Best Face Mask’

Why it won: ‘Rammed to the rafters with exfoliating fruit extracts, REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask, £30, has some epic skin-shedding abilities and doesn’t leave things feeling at all tight. Just smooth and shiny and spot-free.’

Highly Commended: Dr. Hauschka’s {Revitalising Mask} was pipped to the post by its glycolactic rival (above), but was still considered worthy of an honourable mention.

Why it won: ‘For something a little gentler, a little more softly-softly, check out Dr Hauschka Revitalising Mask, £38, which takes rosacea- or blemish-prone skin and returns it to you in a calmer, more even-toned state.’

Highly Commended: (Almost) top of the ‘Exfoliator’ pops was Omorovicza’s {Refining Facial Polisher}.

Why it won: ‘We’re obsessed with the gloriously green gunge that is Omorovicza Refining Facial Polisher, £65. Not just because it has a most satisfying granule-to-algae ratio. Or because said granules are not in the slightest scratchy. But because it buffs sluggish skin into shape in two minutes flat. Ideal.’

Highly Commended: Oxygenetix {Oxygenating Acne Control Foundation} came a very close second in the ‘Best Foundation’ category.

Why it won: ‘Oxygenetix Acne Control Foundation, £52, is a lifeline when skin is behaving badly. Full of aloe vera to soothe and salicylic acid to unclog, it’s so good you can sleep in it.’
