“My skin is temperamental (at best), a total nightmare (at worst). It’s oily, dehydrated and prone to breakout… yay! (not).

I wake up probably 40 minutes before I need to leave, and a hot cloth cleanse works wonders – it’s thorough, and much quicker than you might expect – the muslin cloth gently exfoliates without irritation, and the delicate scent of REN’s {Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser} is simultaneously soothing and reviving; ideal for inspiring the positivity needed to cope with the daily commute…

I slather on a serum (I’m currently trialling a new *TOP SECRET* one for Stacia, but REN’s {Radiance Perfection Serum} is beautiful) – to lock in precious moisture and reduce the appearance of pores and imperfections. I then follow up with a lightweight, oil-free moisturiser; Alpha-H {Clear Skin Hydrator Gel} is brilliantly barely-there – ideal for balancing my oily skin, without that awful clammy feeling – and it controls shine, without the chalkiness (or heaviness) of powder.

I follow this same ritual at night, and twice I week I supplement it with a treatment mask – I have a few and chop and change to suit my skin’s demands (which are numerous).

I keep Peter Thomas Roth’s {Cucumber Gel Mask} in the fridge – it feels incredibly calming and cooling when smoothed over skin at the end of a long, hot day in London – reducing puffiness and inflammation, whilst replenishing much-needed moisture so my face feels ‘plumped’ and comforted.

GLAMGLOW is amazing – I love it so much I have two; {Youthmud} for oilier, blemish-plagued days – it gets right into pores and sucks everything out – you can see it working, which is both a bit sickening and satisfying. I also own {Thirstymud} – perfect for days when my skin’s feeling parched or in need of a super-quick radiance boost.”
