“My skin is dry. And by that I mean dry dry… bump seems to be laying claim to every scrap of nourishment, and is wreaking havoc with my (usually) combination complexion. I’ve had to totally overhaul my skin care regimen; upping-the-ante moisture-wise in an attempt to keep my face from feeling like the desert come midday!

I’ve swapped my foaming cleanser for Oskia’s {Renaissance Cleansing Gel} – the velvety, rose-scented gel-balm brings instant relief from any tightness or discomfort, and leaves my face feeling fresh and beautifully dewy. I gently buff away any residue using {Konjac Puff Sponge with French Red Clay} – the texture exfoliates dulling dead skin cells, while the clay is rich in iron oxide, to promote circulation and encourage a natural ‘glow’.

I then smother my face with Korres {Wild Rose 24 Hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream} – the glycerin has humectant properties, so it attracts environmental moisture to keep my skin feeling contented, while the wild rose oil is a rich source of vitamin C, to brighten any pigmentation patches (thank you hormones… not).

Then I follow up with Alpha-H’s {Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF 50} if I’m feeling courageous enough to contend with the London jungle. It keeps the good stuff in and bad stuff out (UV, pollutants and general city yuckiness). And at night time (once I’ve taken all the day off), I eke out my beloved pot of Zelens {Z Matrix Energy and Moisture Infusion} – it costs a small fortune but is seriously skin-licious… my desperate skin cells quickly lap it up, so I wake to a plumped, soft and supple complexion.

I’m also cocooning every inch of skin in Mama Mio’s super-charged offerings, to help my body cope with the demands my mini monkey’s making of it. The {Tummy Rub Butter} is heavenly, and {Pregnancy Boob Tube} is helping to safeguard for my, er… assets?”
