No animal testing in the EU

According to the brilliant trade publication Cosmetics Design, by March it will be illegal to sell beauty products tested on animals in the EU. In 2003 the commission agreed to put this ban in place by 2013 and they’re now putting their money where their mouth is… no ifs… not buts. A political breath of fresh air for a governing body usually plagued by promises as empty as the smiles through which they are delivered. Extremely good news!
